GREASE DISPENSING UNIT OPERATION DETAILS GREASE ISPENSING UNIT CONSISTS OF:
- Air Operated variable displacement grease pump.
- A grease reservoir fitted on the pump with low and high level switches.
- A non-returns and bleed valve assembly.
- Solenoid valve for actuation of grease pump and barrel transfer pump. GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS:
Overall Trolley/Table size(Approx): 700 (W) x 700 (B) x 900(H) mm Pneumatic requirements: Constant 6 to 7 Bar pressure line. Electric requirements: 230 V Ac supply. Control system: Relay logic. Grease Barrel is provided by the user. SEQUENCE OF OPERATION: When system gets ON read switch checks the level of ‘Grease’ in grease reservoir. When the grease reservoir level reaches the lower limit, switch energizes solenoid-causing air to be fed to barrel transfer pump mounted on grease drum. Grease now flows from the drum into the pump reservoir. When the reservoir level reaches the high-level switch solenoid is energized and valve-feeding air to the barrel transfer pump is switched off. With this arrangement the grease reservoir becomes automatic . On momentarily energizing solenoid, the grease pump gets actuated and dispenses set quantity of grease. At the end of the pump travel a limit switch actuates and retracts the pump. Grease from the spring loaded reservoir flows into the pump, which is now ready for next stroke. Programmable timer is used to maintain automatic dispensing mechanism.
The quantity of grease to be dispensed is varied by adjusting the stroke adjustment arrangement on the rear of the pump. Stroke is adjusted as per requirement.

If require automatic grease dispensing unit is provided with component mounting fixture with mandrel and sensor. Sensor is used to sense the component on the fixture. No of strokes are controlled on control panel by using stroke counter. Once operator will press cycle start button, job get clamped and grease dispensing start as per adjustable stroke and preset stroke counter. End of cycle is informed by Hooter or Job gets automatically declamped.
